We are seeking a Senior Test and Requirements Systems Engineer to join our team and support the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. In this senior-level role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful integration and testing of complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments deployed in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures. Your expertise will be instrumental in verifying compliance with specified requirements and driving quality assurance measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior-level system engineers involved in test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.
  • Conduct testing of applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) within DevOps pipelines, adhering to established quality assurance measures and industry best practices.
  • Independently perform integration testing of system software and hardware to validate compliance with specified requirements.
  • Plan and execute manual tests as well as automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to develop requirements for new and evolving mission needs in the Sensor program domain.
  • Trace program/project requirements to source requirements such as the Joint Architecture Reference Models (JARM) and JARM Technical Service Types (TSTs) for duplication analysis and gap analysis.
  • Utilize experience in requirements development, RFC documentation, and tracking.
  • Support test management and defect tracking using relevant tools.
  • Apply expertise in traditional, Agile, and DevOps development practices, along with associated testing strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program, or equivalent additional experience.
  • 12+ years of experience working in a Requirements Engineering discipline or a closely related field that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform tasks associated with this work.
  • 12+ years of systems integration experience in government or industry, specifically in integrating large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments deployed in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • Ability to trace program/project requirements to the source requirement, such as JARM and JARM Technical Service Types (TSTs), for duplication analysis and gap analysis.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with users and stakeholders to develop Sensor program requirements for new and changing mission needs.
  • Experience in requirements development, RFC documentation, and tracking.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of traditional, Agile, and DevOps development practices and associated testing strategies.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program.
  • Experience with JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub/GitLab (or equivalent software packages), Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, Python, JavaScript, AWS, and C2S.
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Frameworks.
  • Previous experience working on NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/projects.
  • Previous experience working on IC or DoD program/projects.
