Job Description:

As an RN at Sunshine Terrace Foundation, you will be a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to our residents. You will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our elderly residents.

Key Attributes and Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents based on their individual needs and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate residents' conditions, responding to any changes in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated and patient-centered care.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures as needed.
• Educate residents and their families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.

Essential Qualifications:

• Current state RN license.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy for elderly residents and their families.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
