Maintenance/Electrical Operato

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform maintenance throughout the entire processing plant (except vehicles) to include electrical work throughout the plant, work on conveyors, pumps, presses, or any machine that breaks down and would require maintenance.

· Rebuild or repair equipment in the maintenance shop such as pumps & gear boxes. An overhead or hydraulic lift or forklift is available.

· Examples of repairs include work performed in the mill shaft on drags, screws, etc. and fish pump repairs such as replacing parts or welding. Approximately once a week, repairs on maintenance in the hammer mill replacing belts and/or broken screws in the feeder.

· Maintain cleanliness of work area.

· Willing to learn multiple plant operator positions.

· Completes all tasks safely.

· Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, or environmental excursions to your supervisor or a member of the management team immediately.

· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· 2 Year Collage degree or equivalent preferred

· Experience in food or fish processing or manufacturing helpful.

· Excellent work ethic

· Ability to work overtime, weekend and rotating shifts as required

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· Work in heat, cold, rain etc

· Be able to climb stairs 50’ height
