What You'll Do
As an Engineering Technician, your exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Perform routine quality control test procedures including concrete and nuclear moisture/density testing
  • Complete and submit daily reports and Job Hazard Analysis forms
  • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
  • Become familiar with applicable plans and specifications
  • Notify supervisor or Project Manager immediately of problems and deviations from plans and specifications
  • Frequent exposure to clients
  • May occasionally attend job site related meetings
  • May occasionally perform routine testing in the lab

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-9 years of formal industry experience required
  • Construction-related training or technical training desirable
  • Certifications in Concrete and Soil required
  • WVDOT and WVTRET required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Must possess the ability to read, write and perform basic math
  • Must be comfortable communicating with the public
  • Must be comfortable performing basic computer functions
  • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
