Painter 1 $32.00/HR

Job Summary: The Painter assists in the painting and maintaining of all park rides and structures. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

·         Apply prime and finish coats of paint  

·         Able to spray water base, oil base, urethane, epoxy, and polyurethane  

·         Able to work with chemicals (not allergic to chemicals/dust)  

·         Apply Bondo, Feather Fill, primer, and other automotive products used in automotive paint preparation  

·         Sanding, grinding, sandblasting, and prepping parts for paint or protective coatings  

Skills and Qualifications: 

·         General knowledge of automotive painting systems  

·         2-3 years’ experience in automotive body and fender work  

·         Valid Driver's License  

·         High School Diploma or GED  

·         Ability to physically handle working in a variety of conditions  

Qualifier:

Level 1: Basic painting skills and some experience

Level 2: Semiprofessional painting skills with experience
Level 3: Professional painting skills with expert knowledge
