Recovery/Refurb Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sort, count, and record product being returned from retail customer.
• Evaluate returned product for damages, scratches, missing parts and functionality.
• Process paperwork and communicate discrepancies with customer service.
• Test product to determine reason for being returned using a variety of test equipment.
• Repair product to acceptable refurbished state.
• Package recovered product using a variety of cartons and packaging materials.
• Communicate with management and co-workers in written form, email, or in person on issues, changes, or questions.
• Maintain all documentation as it relates to defects.
• Review rework schedule to maintain inventory monthly goals
• Maintain parts inventory for the recovery area.
• Preform firearm builds as requested/required.
• Maintain safe working practices and conditions
• Follow instructions as needed
• Comply to work standards set for each operation
• Discard trash and dunnage from sorting operation
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of air guns, airsoft or firearms or mechanical aptitude
• Able to communicate issues clearly
• Basic Computer Skills
• Must have ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must be task oriented - Use time wisely
• Work well with all other departments
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Hours: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Starting Pay: $14.50/hr
