Landlord Tenant Paralegal Position Description:
Shulman Rogers is a full-service, 100 attorney law firm with its principal office located in Potomac, Maryland and branch offices in Tysons Corner, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The firm supports national, regional and local clients and works collaboratively, across practice groups, to respond to all of their legal needs.
Shulman Rogers' Landlord-Tenant practice group seeks an entry-level Paralegal to support its growing practice.
Duties include:
- Preparation of complaints, routine pleadings and preparation of cases for court.
- Management of calendars and preparation and organization of files for court.
- Extensive client contact to oversee court filings in Maryland, Virginia and DC.
Candidate must possess:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort and skill in speaking with clients.
- High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. iManage and EvictionAssistant experience a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Landlord-tenant experience a plus.
