Hiring a Part-Time MDS Coordinator (RN) in Murfreesboro, TN!
The purpose of this position is to coordinate, record, update and monitor all Minimum Data Set documentation for each Medicare patient as required by state regulations and other appropriate authorities.
Description of Required Duties and Tasks:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
• Regulates and maintains the MDS/PPS program and completion schedule.
• Develops and coordinates appropriate nursing care plan from MDS/RUG category.
• Analyzes assessment data independently for complex patient problems and identifies early subtle changes that formulate RUG categories and affect patient care.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing care plans, and updates MDS/RAI process with completion guidelines.
• Promptly respond to all emergency calls with appropriate emergency intervention.
• Provide care to patients including administration of treatments, medications, social and emotional support.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Education
Required- Associates or better
