Value Vet Virginia is seeking veterinarians to join our telemedicine service! Our mission is to provide responsible, safe and easily accessible care to clients and their pets at an affordable price. We have elevated the traditional virtual care set-up with a twist: Clients bring their pets to our locations for their appointment. LVT's and veterinary assistants are an integral part of these visits, collecting vitals, filling medications and collecting samples. Some examples of telemedicine appointments we see:
- Surgery consultations
- Visits for prescriptions
- Labwork collection/follow-up
- Outpatient, non-urgent visits
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills, especially on a virtual platform
- Ability to diagnose and treat small animals
- Knowledge of Stringsoft software a plus, though not required
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of virtual-care best practices
- License to practice veterinary medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Access to internet
