Overview:

Compensation / Benefits

  • $27.84-$45.46/hr. based on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $2.50/hr.
  • Night differential $3.00/hr.
  • Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

Same Day Surgery at the HealthPlex ensures every patient is as prepared for their surgery as they can be.  Our nurses are experienced in providing excellent care in a calm and friendly environment.  We specialize in providing superior care to all patients. Surgical services offered at the Healthplex campus include: Women's and Childrens, Orthopedics, Urology, Ear,Nose and Throat, Cardiac and General Surgery.

Responsibilities:

RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy.
  • Establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care.
  • Evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation. 
Qualifications:

Education

  • Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Experience

  • Previous experience in healthcare field preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).

 

Licensure / Certification

  • Current unrestricted Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
  • New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
