The role is centered on optimizing financial assets through the establishment of robust financial policies, controls, and reporting systems.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and ensure the completion of the monthly accounting closure within 7 business days by July 2024.

  • Review and approve journal entries, as well as general ledger balance sheet reconciliations across all accounts.

  • Guide financial decisions by creating, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

  • Safeguard assets by establishing and monitoring internal controls, conducting audits, and collaborating with external auditors.

  • Efficiently manage cash to maximize returns and minimize risks through strategic investments.

  • Achieve budgetary objectives by managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

  • Report the financial status by collecting, interpreting, and presenting financial data, including specialized reports and trends.

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, advising management, and filing financial reports.

  • Manage operational aspects related to equipment, employees, and financial staff effectively.

What You'll Bring (Hiring Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Graduate Degree or CPA designation preferred.

  • 6+ years of managerial experience in Finance or Accounting.

  • Experience in multi-site healthcare operations.

  • Profound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Strong knowledge of finance technologies, protocols, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in timely monthly accounting closure, financial planning, and reporting.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead, collaborate within a team, and work independently.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Proactive and capable of working under pressure, including potential after-hour and weekend work.

  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with evolving processes.
