They are moving their Controller to Mass and now backfilling his role HYBRID! 3 Days in office, 2 WFH Supervises 3 Bonus- Discretionary based on company results RESPONSIBILITIES Supports all levels of the organization including the General Manager on all financial aspects of the business unit with monthly operational reviews, the VP Corporate Controller in all accounting manners, and the Finance Director in all ·financial, planning, and analysis activities in order to meet corporate goals. Collaborates with General Manager, site accountants, and senior management to analyze and explain results and variances, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and lead the development of complex analysis. Manages the Accounting Manager, Cost Manager, Staff Accountant, A/P and A/R Clerks. Responsible for all business unit accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition. Reviews monthly balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and analyzes against budget/forecast. Prepares audit supporting memos and high-level financial analysis to support key financial judgement areas. Further develops financial strategy, risk minimization plans, and opportunity forecasting. Primary contact for external auditors regarding quarterly and annual audit for plant site. Responsible for monthly closing process for the plant site, within four business days of month-end. Responsible for full financial reporting package into Corporate for the manufacturing site Provides weekly cash forecast and updates financial forecasts against budget on monthly basis. Ensures accuracy of backlog and new orders reporting. Prepares regular budget consolidation, annual budget, capital expenditure, operating costs and presents it to the senior management for approval. Provides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation, and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business. Ability to continuously monitor and analyze project details for profitability. Maintains compliance following internal controls established by the Company under SOX 404 and ensuring proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, required. 8+ years’ experience in variety of accounting /financial management positions. CPA or MBA preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred Publicly trade experience preferred Hands-on, and flexible attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comprehensive Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and cost accounting. Exceptional analytical ability. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Proficient with Oracle E-Business Suite and Hyperion applications a plus
