The Vice President of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting will lead the research and analysis of technical accounting matters and be an integral part of a team responsible for external and internal financial reporting. Primary responsibilities include the preparation of IFRS, US GAAP and US Statutory audited financial statements. The Vice President will collaborate closely with the global executive team and other operational departments within the Company to understand and proactively review and provide guidance to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.

What you will do

  • Lead the team responsible for technical accounting research, analysis, documentation, and implementation of significant accounting matters.

  • Manage the design and review of SEC and/or US Statutory filings including registration statements, proxy statements, and filings to other regulatory agencies.

  • Manage the quarterly reporting calendar, including coordination with external auditors, executives, Finance, and Legal departments.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors in support of quarterly reviews and annual audits.

  • Lead quarterly and annual reporting to global reporting teams, executive committees, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee.

  • Ensure effective controls around the financial reporting, internal reporting, and technical accounting process.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification and improvement.

  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships and serve as a key business partner with Corporate Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Operations, and HR to ensure that all transactions are properly reflected in the financial statements.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 10 + years of relevant accounting and reporting experience working for a publicly traded organization.

  • 5+ years of experience in a Big 4 firm

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other finance related certification desired.

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Experience with the application and adoption of new accounting standards.

  • Strong accounting, finance and business acumen

  • Excellent project management and organization skills

  • Inspiring and motivating; results driven; self-motivated; ability to work constructively under pressure; able to work with others at varying levels within the organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Base Salary Range

$179,700.00 - $260,625.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
