Job Title : Advanced Linux Engineer with Kubernetes Experience - DOD Secret Location: Fairfax, VA Wage Range: 55-60 depending on years of experience and qualifications Job Number: 24-00492 Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for an Advanced Linux Engineer with Kubernetes Experience with a DOD Secret Clearance to work from their Fairfax, VA facility. As an advanced Linux engineer for Submarine Combat Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for delivering advanced mission capabilities to the US and Australian submarine forces. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: expert Python/bash scripting; superior Red Hat/CentOS Linux administration/deployment; extensive Kubernetes or other container orchestration/PaaS/Cloud technologies Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
