Southeastern Tool and Die, a family-owned manufacturer located in Aberdeen, NC is seeking an Accounting Clerk/Scheduler to join our team.

(This is a dual position)

Hours would be 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday

Major Duties & Responsibilities: Include the following, but not limited to:

  • Receive in-coming calls, securing identity of caller and connect to proper parties.
  • Process cash receipts.
  • Take and relay messages from in-coming calls or connect to proper voicemail.
  • Receive, announce, and direct visitors to proper parties.
  • Maintain required paperwork and files as determined from Supervisor.
  • Retrieve U.S mail daily and distribute accordingly.
  • Pull customer invoicing from system and forward per customer instructions daily.
  • Receive vendor invoices via U.S Mail, fax or e-mail and evaluate to ascertain. whether to process through P.O system or as a non P.O related invoices.
  • Mail checks with appropriate attachments as required.
  • Maintain filing system for open and paid invoices.
  • Review supplier statements monthly.
  • Create checks for invoices approved for payment.
  • Assist with customer service responsibilities to include; create reports in Epicor 9 system to include: job travelers (produced within 24hours of receipt/input of customer purchase order), packers; monitor progress of jobs in Epicor and monitor closing of jobs;
  • Set up jobs to replace all inventories based on TimePhase, pulls, shipments and daily needs report;
  • Generate report to track on-time delivery record; customer sales; open purchase order report; and ‘jobs to be’ report;
  • Input inventory information, and confirm physical inventory when needed
  • Communicate honestly and timely (within 24 hours) with customers of inquiry or purchase order generated by EDI, facsimile or telephone
  • Act as liaison between all departments to deliver quality parts to meet customer specifications and requirements
  • Pull reports for order backlogs for each customer “jobs to be report” daily.
  • Strong initiative, problem solving and attention to detail
  • Excellent organization, planning, project management, time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills

 

Job Type: Full- Time

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00
