Position Purpose: To implement a robust Quality Improvement/ Performance Management system and aggregation of data for all Rosecrance programs and affiliates. To implement routine performance improvement and accreditation functions in accordance with written agency policies and procedures, state and federal rules and regulations, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
• Minimum of three years working with customers or clients, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Minimum Bachelor’s level degree in healthcare, social service, or business filed.
• Must have or achieve a NiaTx, Lean, Six Sigma or other change management certification
• Must by proficient with technology and database management
• Must have experience and mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Three years performance improvement or quality experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission, state licensure and/or other regulatory standards
• Training or experience in statistical information gathering and root cause analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be emotionally and medically able to perform essential job responsibilities
• Must be free from active or person to person communicable diseases

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assist clients with accessing client portal, including technical support and troubleshooting any problems.
2. Assist staff with Electronic Health Record data entry questions, provide constructive feedback and training with staff regarding PI initiatives and to ensure accurate data collection and aggregation.
3. Administer paper based and/or electronic outcome and survey tools with individual and groups of clients as needed.
4. Perform data calculations and routine analytical functions relative to performance improvement activities.
5. Identify, evaluate, and correct errors caused by inappropriate decision making, human behavior, leadership practices or organizational weaknesses that impact safety and/or operational performance.
6. Results of weaknesses that impact the organization are to be incorporated into training methods and procedures to support an organizational culture of continuous improvement.
7. Train and mentor personnel at various levels across the organization in the handling of client data.
8. Collect and analyze company wide client outcomes and staff performance data in order to provide conclusions and recommendations to Senior Management to support improved processes
9. Assist organization in meeting requirements for Joint Commission and state licensing surveys, including completing Mock Surveys, Tracers, staff training, and other Joint Commission readiness activities.
10. Maintain up to date knowledge of regulations affecting the organization and act as a resource to staff.
11. Assist Performance Improvement Director in reviewing and revisions of the Policy and Procedure
12. Perform audits as requested by the Director of Performance Improvement.
13. Assist in Quality Assurance and Focus Medical Review under the direction of the Director of Performance Improvement.
14. Assist Director of Performance Improvement on any specific PI/Quality related tasks, research, and help to develop educational material for identified service needs.
15. Travel to various Rosecrance facilities to aid in Performance Improvement onsite activities as necessary and as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

  • Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Monday thru Friday
