$1500 sign on bonus! (paid at 180 days employed)

$15-$28 per hour depending on experience.

12 hour shifts, 4 days per week, possible Saturdays (let us know preferred schedule)

Nights: 5:30PM to 5:30AM - extra $3.00 per hour

The Production Line Operator is responsible for running a production line safely and efficiently. The Production Operator will be fully trained to be able to run a full line, from dough mixing to tortilla packaging, and will be responsible for the overall performance of the line. This position plays an important role in our operations and has a direct impact on our company’s metrics. The responsibility and reward for each Operator is determined by the tier classification (T1, T2, and T3). Qualified Operators will participate in a performance bonus plan in addition to their base compensation.

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to identify and analyze problems and plan solutions

• Experience with food manufacturing

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide a positive work environment

• Strong ability to work with manufacturing equipment

• Good hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED

• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant as an operator

• Previous experience working in a bakery or tortilla manufacturing facility

• Mechanical inclination

• Experience with Good Manufacturing (GMP) and/or Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical effort is required

• Must be able to lift 30lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and move around machinery for long periods of time

• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms

• Must be able to work in varying working climates, i.e., temperatures may vary from very hot to very cold
