Reports to: SOVA Area Sales Manager

Starting Salary: TBD (contingent upon experience and driving record)

Hours/Week: 40 Hrs Per Week; May vary upon season

Classification: Exempt

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.); Equiv. or one year sales exp.

Degree or Training: Provided for first several days of job; generally 2 weeks

Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations: Reliable transportation; good driving record; proof of insurance, valid driver’s license; Solicitor License as required

JOB DESCRIPTION


SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for creatively selling the company’s portfolio and managing customer expectations within the Richmond area.


MAIN TASKS/JOB DUTIES/GOALS:

  • Reports to Area Manager
  • Become fully acquainted with the EoMobile System (entering orders, tracking orders)
  • Grow sales volume in assigned territory/route.
  • Execute and close sales calls
  • Follow up and close any provided/gained leads: including researching new, potential opportunities within territory
  • Obtain appointments and or cold call to aggressively pursue new accounts
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to maintain maximum level of customer satisfaction
  • Regularly visit current customers to grow the existing business with account
  • Solicit new brands/product to customers daily
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries as they arise
  • Place and transmit appropriate orders for customers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Transport, replace, and maintain POS/marketing material
  • Plan and attend events in cooperation with Vendors and Supervisor(s)
  • Report regularly to management on weekly activities including goals, sales, prospects, and leads
  • Achieve sales goals as directed by Area Sales Manager
  • Participate in work-with with managers, vendors and other HWB personnel
  • Attend and participate in monthly Sales Meetings at HWB offices
  • Deliver product as needed
  • Capture Competitive information to report to Area Sales Manager
  • Conduct in store tastings (where legal) at least once a month
  • Be accessible to customers and managers
  • Provide route coverage where necessary
  • Clean/troubleshoot draft lines and equipment as needed
  • Other duties as directed or assigned by supervisors/managers


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Candidate must have proven track record of sales success in growing market share with current and prospective customers. Must be updated on computer skills and able to adapt to new applications, able to self-motivate and work effectively on own. Candidate should also project the following attributes: problem solver, decision maker, detail oriented, self-starter, accurate, good with numbers, and well organized.
