Duties:

• Must be able to provide virtual sessions in a secure location consistent with HIPAA standards (i.e. home office, separate room in home, or lives alone)

• Assessing and diagnosing clients consistent with the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-V) guidelines.

• Creating treatment plans specific to the client’s goals, strengths and weaknesses

• Complete all documentation within 48 hours of a completed session

• Providing individual, family or group therapy interventions that take into account the client’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences

• Providing crisis intervention and assessing risk factors of harm to self or others

• Referring to alternative or supportive services based on the client’s needs

• Providing timely electronic clinical documentation

• Consulting and supervision with other clinicians

• Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

• Assisting in training and orientation of others

• Attend staff meetings as instructed

• Complete relevant trainings, when tasked, to support business needs, and or compliance with state, local and federal laws and regulations.

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned

• Meet weekly productivity requirements

• Ensure virtual sessions can be provided in a private and secure manner.

Requirements:

Education:

• Master’s Degree, or higher advanced degree.

• Licensed in the professional discipline in the state in which you live to work independently as a therapist (i.e. Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker).


Knowledge skills and abilities:

• Ability to read, write and speak or communicate in English to successfully accomplish the essential duties of the position.

• Exhibits professionalism, courtesy and excellent customer service, while interacting with patients, guests and co-workers.

• Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

• Complies with the state laws for reporting abuse/neglect for children and adults.

• Experience providing professional counseling services to include providing diagnosis, use of multiple therapeutic interventions and approaches, and experience developing treatment plans, preferred.

• Experience completing psychosocial assessments, conducting various assessments, and entering timely progress notes.

• Able to work a flexible schedule- evenings and weekends to meet patient needs.

• Possesses excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently, and work collaboratively on group projects.

• Demonstrated basic math skills/Data entry and computer skills

• Experience with electronic medical record maintenance; HIPAA/Privacy Act Compliance a preferred.

• Able to pass a mandatory Criminal Background Check (FBI and state) due to the sensitive nature of the position.

• Able to pass mandatory Child Abuse Background/Sexual Registry Checks.

• Ability to work independently- self-starter to support a growing practice.

• Able to obtain/maintain Malpractice Insurance (policy required prior to start date)

• Must be a team player, and motivated to continue pursuing continuous developmental opportunities to improve skill set.
