Shop Manager

We are a rapidly growing premiere custom countertop company in search of a Shop Manager. Any candidate must have a drive for growth in a fast paced, top-of-the-line operation.

The Shop Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the production shop, including overseeing the CNC machining process, managing the installers, and streamlining the operations of the company. This position requires experience with CNC machining, as well as the ability to manage people and meet deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the CNC machining process, including programming, setup, and operation of CNC machines
• Manage the installers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
• Streamline the operations of the company by identifying and implementing process improvements
• Maintain accurate records of all production data
• Purchase and maintain inventory of materials and supplies
• Inspect finished products for quality
• Communicate with customers to resolve any issues
• Comply with all safety regulations

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with CNC machining
• Experience managing people
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
