Position: Second Processing Area Manager

Overview: Join our team as the Second Processing Area Manager, where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our plant operations. You will lead the Rehang and Wings teams on the Day Shift, providing direction, training, and coaching to supervisors and hourly production associates. Your focus will be on achieving company goals, maintaining a safe working environment, and fostering positive relationships within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, measure, and manage departmental operating budgets to maintain competitiveness.
• Meet operational plans to ensure yield, efficiency, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Implement processes to reduce turnover, improve safety, and enhance employee satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing training to supervisors and production associates to maximize performance.
• Develop innovative ideas to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Oversee Grading, Giblet Packing, Cut Up, and Overwrap departments.
• Support company goals of People, Products, and Profitability through effective planning and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4 years of experience in poultry plant management or equivalent.
• Familiarity with industry procedures such as HACCP and SPC, and plant efficiency metrics.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and implement protocols efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities at both strategic and functional levels.
