BASS Medical Group seeks an experienced AR Specialist in our Walnut Creek office. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking skills are key. Your work will require a high degree of responsibility and independence.


Recommend knowledge and skills:

· Superior phone communication skills with providers, carriers, patients, and employees

· A self-starter, able to work independently, and as a team.

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume work environment

· Great attendance and punctuality

· Proficient in Excel and Word

· 10 Key by touch


Job Duties but are not limited to:

  • Daily batch reconciliation of Copays and deposits from different divisions. Reconciliation includes balancing and matching to User Batch Reports from EPIC, All Scripts and eClinicalWorks.
  • Work closely with different divisions on posting missing payments.
  • Set up and coordinate required scanners to different divisions.
  • Maintain relationships with the bank to ensure that all of our needs (i.e.,bank supplies, etc.) are met.
  • Work closely with the Posting/Billing Department as well as Accounts Payable Department.
  • Requires flexibility to adapt to changes and growth of the company.
  • Comfortable using excel, vlook up, filtering, sorting, formulas, and other advance functions of excel.
Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· At least 6 month of accounting related experience

· Advance working knowledge in Excel and Proficiency with other Microsoft office applications

· Basic typing skills

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$20.00-23.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
