Overview

Join the Office of Professional Regulation! Seeking a high level professional to join OPR's highly skilled workforce. OPR is a public protection agency which regulates 51 professions. This position is responsible for leading the licensing administration unit which includes licensing, inspections, policy and OPR's online services system. Responsibilities include policy implementation, continual process improvement, business operations, legislation development and analysis, information systems administration, technical and professional staff. Administrative responsibilities will be achieved with a high degree of independence. The ideal candidate will have experience with user database systems, the understanding Vermont law, and juggling multiple demands at a fast pace. Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree or higher AND two (2) years or more experience performing administrative-level duties for a project, program, operation, business, or organization INCLUDING two (2) years or more experience as a supervisor. Administrative duties are those beyond general clerical or secretarial, such as interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; data collection and analysis; managing support services; and implementing program policies and procedures.
OR
Bachelor's degree or higher AND four (4) years or more experience performing administrative-level duties for a project, program, operation, business, or organization INCLUDING two (2) years or more experience as a supervisor. Administrative duties are those beyond general clerical or secretarial, such as interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; data collection and analysis; managing support services; and implementing program policies and procedures.
OR
Associate degree AND six (6) years or more experience performing administrative-level duties for a project, program, operation, business or organization INCLUDING two (2) years or more experience as a supervisor. Administrative duties are those beyond general clerical or secretarial, such as interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; data collection and analysis; managing support services; and implementing program policies and procedures.
OR
High school diploma and eight (8) years or more experience as a licensing administrator orperforming administrative-level duties for a project, program, operation, business, or organization INCLUDING two (2) years or more experience as a supervisor. Administrative duties are those beyond general clerical or secretarial, such as interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; data collection and analysis; managing support services; and implementing program policies and procedures.
