Your Role
OUTFRONT XLabs employs an always-on prototyping methodology that translates valuable insights gathered through sales inputs, industry trends, press phenomena, emerging technologies, and our imagination into advanced OOH capabilities for our trusted partners.
As Summer Intern, Creative Technology, your primary responsibility is the development and testing of web properties and experiences. In addition to maintaining our existing web properties, you will have the opportunity to flex your creativity and develop new skills by contributing to an ongoing stream of projects that explore emerging technologies such as augmented reality, dynamic data-driven content, programmatic creativity, and data visualizations.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in coding projects for websites and HTML layouts
- Learn the software that powers our digital liveboards to schedule content in our state-of-the-art Media Lab for client presentations and meetings
- Quality Assurance activities for future rollouts of nyliveboards.outfrontmedia.com, including cross-browser testing
Your Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HTML5/CSS3/Javascript
- Understanding of React or Vue (preferable)
- Working proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Working understanding of mobile capabilities, animation, and web-based APIs
- Proactive, enthusiastic and passionate about emerging technologies
- Ability to clearly discuss and explain your solutions with both technical and non-technical team members
- Passion for learning new things and taking on new projects
The salary range for this role is $18/per hour. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
