POSITION DETAILS

In this position, you will transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and safe manner. You need strong driving skills, a clean driving record and a valid driver's license. In addition to driving skills and experience, you also need strong communication and customer service skills. Interacting with passengers is a major part of our service and you must represent our brand in a friendly and helpful manner. Experience working with nursing homes or special needs education programs is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

Take orders from Company akin to picking up passengers; ensure that they are safely transported to their destinations

Safely maneuver vehicle during rush hours by using the best possible routes; be vigilant and have a keen sense of direction

Ensure attendance at the place of the pickup in a time-efficient manner

Assist passengers in embarking on the van; help elderly passengers by providing physical support

Help with loading residents in wheelchairs, equipment, etc. onto the van; ensure proper and safe placement

Check the bus periodically to make sure that all is in good working order; perform general checks and scheduled maintenance on the van

Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED certificate

Strong driving skills and a clean record

Communication and customer service skills

Excellent time-management abilities

14 Passenger Bus (NO CDL Required)

Must be able to pass DOT Physical
