Senior Financial Analyst

Compensation: $80,700.00-$108,500.00, + Benefits/Variable Comp/ Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

OneStream builds the most powerful and flexible tools for Corporate Performance Management (CPM), and we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) of Sales Finance to join our FP&A team. The SFA will report to the Senior Manager of Sales Finance and will be responsible for assisting in annual planning and quarterly forecast cycles and driving the usage of financial and operational KPIs through financial reporting, analysis, and business-driven insights. This individual will be a trusted advisor to senior finance and functional executives, while proactively collaborating, influencing, and aligning the company's planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with annual planning as well as monthly / quarterly forecasting and reporting related to Sales as well as headcount reconciliation to forecast and discretionary spend variance analysis.
  • Produce key metric reporting and monthly operations updates for business partners to inform smart and actionable financial decisions that have a positive ROI on the business.
  • Develop and build standardized methodology and reporting process to assess forecast accuracy by identifying key drivers/assumptions.
  • Drive ideation, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements and automated tasks across FP&A and broader Finance, in partnership with relevant cross-functional stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Partner with other supporting areas of the business (Accounting, HR, etc.) to assist business partners on ad hoc requests in a timely manner.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by leadership.

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Formal Education and Certification

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, related discipline, or equivalent work experience

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5 years of FP&A experience, preferably in an enterprise SaaS company, or 3 years of investment banking.
  • Experience building financial models from scratch, including standard GAAP presentation and common non-GAAP metrics.
  • An understanding of key business drivers and processes, with the ability to implement new processes in a high-growth environment.
  • An understanding of how to model businesses by identifying key drivers and their impact / relationship to outputs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have:

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Experience with OneStream or other planning applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
