Responsibilities
Construction Expertise:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Civil/Concrete Foundations, Structural Steel, Piping Systems, Fixed Equipment, and Rotating Equipment in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements for excavation safety is essential.
- Experience in integrating SAP planning with P-6 schedules to facilitate efficient project planning and execution.
- Ability to read and comprehend Engineering drawings, P&ID’s, Isometrics, Civil & Structural drawings.
- Collaborate with project planners to develop construction plans integrated into P-6 schedules.
- Understand and enforce project specifications, ensuring accurate and timely field installations.
- Oversee commissioning and checkout processes, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to construction coordination and project management.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Provide clear updates on project progress and address any issues promptly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including days or nights, to accommodate project needs.
- Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Qualifications
- Minimum of ten (10) years of combined Industrial Construction, Maintenance, and Turnaround experience.
- Knowledge of Civil/Concrete Foundations, Structural Steel, Piping Systems, Fixed Equipment, and Rotating Equipment.
- Basic understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation as related to construction.
- Experience in integrating SAP planning with P-6 schedules.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings, P&ID’s, and other relevant documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to workdays or nights as required.
- Valid TWIC certification.
