Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in San Bernardino, CA. This is a full-time position for the entire school year, providing occupational therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Therapeutic Interventions: Provide occupational therapy services to address students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' overall educational plans.
  4. Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  5. Advocacy: Advocate for the needs of students and provide guidance to educational teams on creating inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  1. Occupational Therapy License: Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
  2. Experience: Previous experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
  3. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Adaptability: Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
