Managed File Transfer Administrator 100% Remote. US Citizenship is Required per government contract Ability to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent of 10+ years of work experience. We are looking for a seasoned professional that coordinates and oversees managed file transfer infrastructure services. Working closely with other engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and customers. The Senior MFT engineer utilizes his/her knowledge and expertise to focus on maintaining, supporting Managed file transfer products. Demonstrate a high-level proficiency through technical knowledge and experience managing IBM Connect Direct and Sterling Secure Proxy. Must have strong administration support skills in Linux (Red Hat) and Unix (AIX) operating system or willingness to enhance your technical skillset with the systems & technologies that host our file transfer environment. Demonstrate strong communication, and documentation skills. Be able to independently implement and support specialized business and technical information technology solutions. Technical Skills and product knowledge requirements: • Experience managing, configuring, and updating IBM Connect: Direct on Linux platform. • Experience managing, configuring, and updating Sterling Secure Proxy on Linux platform. • Experience with Linux RHEL systems administration skills. • Familiar with Ansible automation. • Able to review/interpret Connect: Direct logs and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. • Basic understanding of Networking protocols. • Basic understanding of AWS cloud protocols and tools and/or willingness to learn. Qualifications / Responsibilities: • Maintain and administer IBM Connect: Direct and Sterling Secure Proxy. • Perform change management (CM) role on the components and implement change requests based on CM processes. • Perform and effectively communicate break/fix activities following incident management process. • Maintain, Install, Upgrade, and Patch Connect Direct product throughout the lifecycle of the product. • Ability to independently manage own projects including communications to customers as well as work as part of a larger operational team. • Individual is expected to be self-driven and motivated to attend and provide requested support. • Strong diplomacy, assertiveness, influencing skills with commitment and ability to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environment. • Good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer service skills. • Must be willing to work mandatory off hours, weekends, and on-call support. #M2
