System One seeks a Buyer to handle procurement tasks for a leading custom solutions manufacturer. The role involves processing orders efficiently and negotiating with vendors for optimal pricing and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Process orders and requisitions according to established guidelines. Communicate with vendors to gather product/service details and negotiate terms. Select products/services based on price, quality, and delivery schedules. Issue purchase orders and ensure accuracy of specifications. Expedite orders when necessary and address any issues with products/services. Identify and recommend new vendors, maintain vendor relations, and assist with invoice resolution. Maintain procurement records and assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience. Certification as a Purchasing Professional (CPP) is a plus. Experience in manufacturing, particularly in metal fabrication, is desirable. Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of procurement practices are essential. #M1
