Job Details

We are currently seeking a talented CNC Programmer with proficiency in Mastercam software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role will primarily focus on aerospace parts, requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Mastercam software to generate CNC programs for machining aerospace components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop efficient machining processes.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce parts with tight tolerances.
• Perform tooling selection, fixture design, and toolpath optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize production time.
• Conduct in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure compliance with dimensional and geometric requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Mastercam software for CNC programming is required.
• Previous experience programming and operating CNC machines, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, including cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and machining simulation tools is a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
