Our client, within healthcare is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for delivering excellence in healthcare, promoting patient safety and ensuring the minimization of risk and compliance.

 Job Title: Risk Manager (Healthcare Facilities)

Location: Kellogg, Idaho

Pay Range: $70-$75k/year

What’s the Job?

  • The Risk Manager is responsible for risk management activities, which include managing potential and pending claims against the facility and interfacing with legal counsel.
  • Coordinates the development and assessment of annual risk management plan complying with risk management related standards by CMS and IDAPA with the objective of enhancing and promoting patient safety, quality care, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the facility
  • Administers the risk management program on a day to day basis and conducts risk management educational programs.
  • Participates in formulating policy and/or organization changes. 

What’s Needed?

  • Min Associates degree in healthcare, preferably LPN or RN and 3-5 years experience
  • Medical Industry knowledge, HIPPA compliance, risk management
  • Work requires experience in one or more of the following fields: patient care, public policy, health care administration, business administration, legal support or insurance/claims investigation and settlement
  • Excellent communication, problem solving skills
