NaphCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LPNs and LVNs) just like you at the Mobile County Metro Jail located in Mobile, AL. Full Time Day Shifts, Full Time Night Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $25.50 - $31.88 per hour based on Shift, FT, PT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, and experience.

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments
  • Administer medications
  • Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
  • Collect samples, specimens and cultures
  • Transcribe therapeutic orders
