Senior Program Manager, FP&A

At Marvin, our financial strategy and capital planning are the backbone of our growth. This individual should not only be well-versed in financial systems but also excel in supporting business partners during the rollout of new processes and systems. The role necessitates active collaboration across the organization, offering financial insights that drive decisions at all levels.

You may be eligible for housing incentives that range from $20,000-$30,000 towards your purchase of a new, Marvin-built home in Warroad. This is in addition to a relocation bonus, of up to $5,000 or more!

This position will work closely with the Director of Corporate FP&A and the Sr. Director of Corporate Finance to determine most efficient and effective way to lead the organization through best-in-class forecast and budget processes. In addition, this position will lead creation of forecast analysis to provide insight to accuracy and completeness of forecast and budget and provide insight into ability to realize financial goals.

Highlights of your role:

  • Support & Collaboration: Actively support business partners during the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and uptake.
  • System Optimization: Ensure that financial systems, especially Prophix, are maintained and built optimally to cater to enterprise needs.
  • Financial Analysis: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses, pinpointing variances against budget and forecasts.
  • Capital Planning: Drive the capital planning process, constructing a rigorous financial framework and approval methodology.
  • Insights & Strategy: Produce executive-facing insights and presentations, distilling complex financial data into actionable intelligence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with cross-functional leaders, fostering understanding and addressing financial needs, while solidifying your position as a dependable business partner.
  • Process Enhancement: Champion initiatives leveraging technology and training to elevate financial clarity and reporting standards.
  • Travel: Participate in necessary company site visits (up to 10% of the time).

You're a good fit if you have:
  • 6 -10+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, strategy development, and/or business intelligence.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or MBA) in finance, economics, strategy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting system and process implementations.
  • Strong background in financial analytic process management and execution within a manufacturing, retail, or CPG setting; private company experience is a bonus.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in macros, pivot tables, and data modeling. Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, etc.
  • Prior experience or in-depth familiarity with Prophix is highly desired and will be a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for fostering strong business partnerships.
