JOB SUMMARY
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Works closely with Cath Lab patients ensuring their comfort and making them aware of what is going to take place.
Associate's degree required.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
Licenses:
• Current and active Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of Tennessee.
