Transducers Direct, one of the fastest growing innovative manufacturers of pressure transducers and a pioneer in wireless pressure sensors and IoT solutions, is looking to fill an on-site position for a Software Engineering Manager with project management experience and a minimum of 5 years C#, BLE. .NET experience including WinForms application development a plus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of engineers and their projects, while being directly responsible for a variety of applications that support production and operations including cloud interaction with new, current, and future cutting-edge, wireless IoT devices.
This is an office-based position in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a small engineering team
- Project management for company’s engineering projects
- Working in all areas of the full product lifecycle.
- Develop new and exciting software projects
- Designing and coding sound technical solutions of superior quality
- Translating customer requests into a working software solution
- Perform and/or assist in debugging, troubleshooting and resolving application and data integrity issues
Required Skills:
- Managing a team of technical personnel
- Project management with a track record of meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of C# and BLE. Using both the .NET Framework and .NET Core (minimum 5 years) a plus
- Experience with WinForms application using the .NET Framework
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
- Ability to work individually on large scale projects with direct contact with stakeholders
Desired Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience with at least some of the following technologies:
- Expert in C# and BLE. Cellular experience is a plus.
- Microsoft SQL Server including experience designing databases and writing database queries.
- REST Web Services
- Microsoft Azure including AZ-900 certification
- IoT communication protocols
- Atlassian Jira
- Source/version control using GIT.
- Web Development using ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI.
- Web UI Development using Javascript/CSS
- Experience with firmware development in C using MPLab.
- PhP Web Development using Laravel
