An Automation company located in the Davisburg/Holly area is searching for a Machinist that has experience operating: Bridgeports, CNC and Manual lathes and/or mills.
- Shift: 4PM - 2:30AM Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS
Candidate must have:
- Experience with Bridgeport & Prototrak attachments
- Experience with HAAS mills/lathes & Manual lathes
- Experience with Mastercam
- Shop mathematics knowledge
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, gage blocks and pins
- Experience with metal/material properties to ensure proper cut on various types of materials
- Experience with set up and start up with manager's approval
- Experience selecting proper cutting tools, holding fixtures, align fixtures, monitor fixtures and speeds
Responsibilities:
Machinist will be responsible for producing high quality details from raw stock to conform to Engineering details and prints. Machinists will examine and measure completed details in an effort to ensure conformance to prints.
This position is a project based position with the company including an excellent benefits program.
Candidate must have clean criminal background and also pass pre employment drug screen. This is a good opportunity with a growing company and a good working environment.
