Quality Control Clerk

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining and validating our quality standards are of the utmost importance. This role will be responsible for conducting on-going random testing throughout both facilities with little to no notice to the respective department. This role will be working closely with all departments and reporting their results directly to the Operations Manager.

• Proof testing round-slings

• Failure testing round-slings

• Commodity product testing/inspecting.

• Yarn tensile testing

• Sling in process testing

 Random proof or failure testing

• WIP webbing testing

• ISO auditing

• Prepare quality reports.

• Back-up for shipping

• Additional projects assigned.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

• Solid understanding of test equipment.

• Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience.

• Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions. Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds occasionally.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.
