Behavioral Health Tech (Temporary Housing Included)

SeaView’s Adult Mental Health Residential Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team. If you are passionate about helping others facing behavioral health challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to recover and lead successful lives.

Positions: Behavioral Health Tech Overnight (1)

Compensation Package:

• Hourly Rate: $18 per hour
• Temporary Staff Housing: Temporary Staff housing is available to support you in moving to Seward, AK. Housing is available for a modest payroll deduction. No pets are allowed.
• Utilities: All utility expenses will be covered in temporary housing, ensuring a worry-free living environment.
• Wifi: Access to high-speed internet for personal and professional use.

Responsibilities:

• Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Facilitate group discussions and support sessions
• Assist clients in setting goals and creating individualized plans
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment
• Promote a safe and supportive community within residential and housing programs
• Encourage clients to engage in healthy recreational and social activities
• Assist in crisis intervention, as needed
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Driver's License
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
• Reliable and punctual
