Data Scientist Mission Integrator - Senior

The Sponsor requires 1.0 FTE of Data Science Mission Integration contractor support. Contractor support under this task

will unify technical development activities. Under this task the Contractor shall:

• Track, manage, and task-organize data science, data engineering, systems operation and maintenance, and data analytics tasks to ensure deliverables and products meet mission priorities.

• Identify and document expressed and implied Sponsor functional requirements into technical requirements.

• Ensure technical timelines and milestones are met.

• Perform quality assurance checks on deliverables to customers and stakeholders.

• Deconflict data science and data engineering requirements to ensure data science products meet customer needs.

Requirements

The following are REQUIRED qualifications for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics) or equivalent relevant experience.

• 8+ years of experience leading software development or technical development teams using Agile/Scrum Development methodologies or similar techniques.

• Extensive demonstrated experience developing technical requirements from stakeholder functional requirements and implementing execution on those requirements according to available resources, scheduling and capacity.

• Extensive demonstrated experience in written and verbal communication on complex analytic methods, technologies and development patterns for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience implementing modern software development practices and approaches (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, DevOps, etc.) to develop custom software or scripting products.

• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in a management or subject matter expert advisory capability.

• Extensive experience with natural language processing tools and techniques.

The following are DESIRED qualifications for this position:

• Advanced understanding of descriptive statistics, regression, and data labeling/classification models.

• Extensive demonstrated experience with implementing software development methodologies for IC customers.

• Demonstrated experience designing IC solutions based on user requirements.

• Demonstrated knowledge of IC cloud services on classified networks.
