Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Rooms Preventive Maintenance for the Marriott in Fort Collins, CO.

This position supports the maintenance/repair needs of the hotel. Performs work involving multiple crafts, such as plumbing, painting and drywall, carpentry, electrical and water testing.

This shift will be Monday through Friday 8a, until 4:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Plumbing functions include:

  • Solder/braze
  • Unplug toilet and drains
  • Change bath and toilet fixtures
  • Fix faucets

Drywall and painting functions include:

  • Small repairs in walls and ceilings due to water damage.
  • Must blend repairs with existing wall or ceiling fixtures.
  • Minor painting of rooms, doors, trim and ceilings.

Carpentry functions include:

  • Repair and fabricate chairs, tables, walls, floor, cabinetry, shelves etc.
  • Must understand demonstrate correct use of hand and power tools. * Electrical functions include:
  • Change outlets, wall switches, light fixtures, appliances, AC/p-tacs and related items.
  • Must be able to trouble shoot, read schematics, and diagnose electrical equipment.
  • Will work with voltages from 24v to 240 volt 3 phase and the correct use of meters and testing meters.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as part of preventive maintenance program.
  • Repairs and maintains commercial laundry equipment.
  • Participates on the Safety Committee.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent; vocational school training preferred.
  • Minimum two years experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry crafts.

  • Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
