Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
  • Monitor and document residents' responses to medication
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care activities.
  • Participate in care planning and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
  • Uphold the highest standards of resident safety, dignity, and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of state-approved Medication Aide training program
  • Current certification as a Medication Aide - QMA in the state of Indiana
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
