One on One Geriatric Nurse Aide (GNA) Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Evening Shift

We are currently seeking a compassionate GNAs or CNAs to join our Maryland team as PRN or on call basis for our evening shift; 3pm - 11pm. You can work as little as 2 hours a day or up to 12 hour shifts - we work around you!

Our GNA's are known as Personal Caregivers because we rely on you to provide quality customized care and excellent customer service to our clients as you work with on their daily activities. Ingleside at Home is a premier provider of in-home care services. We provide quality care for mature adults residing in the Maryland region. We are located in Rockville, MD in the King Farm area. The duties of this position may include:

1. Providing assistance to clients in daily hygiene rituals, making sure they are clean, dry and appropriately dressed.
2. Assisting residents during meals, ensuring they are receiving the prescribed diet.
3. Reporting any abnormalities in hygiene or diet intake to the nurse.
4. Encouraging clients to remain as independent as possible in a safe environment.
5. Engaging clients in restorative care exercise.
6. Assisting clients in relearning or adapting to new methods as part of their restorative program.

Qualifications:

1. At least 18 years old with a High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. At least one (1) year personal care giving, companion, homemaking, residential cleaning and/or laundry services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Must have successfully completed a state-approved nurse's aide/assistant training program to include CNA training and/or GNA training.
4. An active/current certification and registration with the state Dept. of Health.
5. Must have a mastery of the English language in both written and oral form.
6. Willing and able to drive to and from client homes.
