Sales Associate

Crystal Pool is the area's largest store dedicated solely to pools & spas and everything that goes along with them. We are a family-owned and operated swimming pool company seeking full-time and seasonal Retail Sales Associates, preferably with prior experience.

With over 7,000 square feet and thousands of items, we have the widest variety of products and the largest inventory around. The Sales Associate is a seasonal hire. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, performing water testing, and helping with customer needs to provide the best experience to our consumer.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Customer service, answering phones, scheduling service calls
• Stocking shelves and counters with merchandise
• Setting up displays and arranging merchandise to promote sales
• Answering questions concerning location, price, and provide recommendations
• Totaling price, accepting payments, making change, and bagging merchandise • Selling products including above-ground pools, chemicals, robotic cleaners, etc.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, pallet jacks
• Keeping the showroom clean and orderly
• Perform pool water analysis and determine solutions for issues
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Preferably be at least 18 years of age, high school age on a case-by-case basis
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Minimum of six months experience preferred using smart technology
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to interpret documents, technical diagrams, and instructions
• Ability to speak politely and effectively with customers
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Standing and walking for extended periods of time, frequent bending, climbing, moving of ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range

This position pays between $15 - $18/hr., depending on prior experience
