Introduction:

Customer aims to take existing capabilities demonstrated in a research and development (R&D) setting and optimize, enhance, and generalize them for production uses. A demonstrated proficiency in AI/ML, C/C++ and Python development, Linux, and Docker will be required to complete the work.

Work requirements

Software Development

The Candidate shall update, debug, and optimize Customer source code from an R&D test bench into a high-reliability, user-friendly tool.

• The Candidate shall incorporate Pythonic just-in-time compilation, multiprocessor, and multi-GPU inferencing on Windows and Linux-based systems.
• The Candidate shall develop an alpha-level graphic user interface (GUI) for demonstration and community feedback.
• The Candidate shall perform development activities to improve existing models to reach 90-95% confidence.
• The Candidate shall develop the AI capability to incorporate numerous biometric data points for detection.
• The Candidate shall regularly provide status reports, including discussion of activities, a summary of briefings, meetings, or visits and accomplishments during reporting periods, milestones achieved, anticipated activities for the next reporting period, and problems encountered, mitigated, or anticipated.
• The Candidate shall host monthly or as-needed Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to update the project's status on technical objectives, risks, etc.

1. Demonstrated experience developing in C/C++ and Python.
2. Demonstrated experience developing AI/ML applications for video and image processing and classification.
3. Demonstrated GUI development experience.
4. Demonstrated experience with Linux.
5. Demonstrated experience with Docker and Linux containers.
6. Demonstrated experience interacting with and developing REST APIs.

Highly Desired skills and demonstrated experience

1. Demonstrated experience with application security, setting up application certificates, user access control, and working with component security officers.
2. Demonstrated experience in technical writing or documentation skills, including the ability to communicate work completed and maintenance processes.
