Program Ambassador—Coras Wellness and Behavioral Health

Seeking an energetic, self-driven, charismatic candidate to represent Coras as a Program Ambassador. The Program Ambassador is a member of the clinical team who assists clients and guests in gaining access to safe, timely, and quality services. The Program Ambassador is committed to creating an environment that supports wellness and recovery by providing top-notch customer service and supports the interdisciplinary treatment team in the efficient and effective delivery of services. The Program Ambassador engages and assists clients in receiving the help needed, monitors the facilities for safety and cleanliness and assists other staff in service delivery.

Coras was Founded in 2021, as a limited liability corporation as a subsidiary of Conexio Care, Inc., CORAS Wellness & Behavioral Health provides a wide array of substance abuse and behavioral health treatment services, including but not limited to, MAT Services, Outpatient Services, Residentials Services, Sober Living Services, Primary Care Services, and other wellness and behavioral health services. We currently have 16 facilities throughout the state of Delaware.

Duties of the position:

  • Welcoming clients, family, and visitors to the program
  • Directing people to the location of services offered at program
  • Creating an environment focused on client well-being and safety
  • Instructs and assists clients in obtaining clinical services
  • Informs clients of the expectations and process for obtaining clinical services
  • Monitors and responds to crisis situations or potential crisis situations consistent with best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Attends all required workshop and training programs
  • Encourages staff/clients while demonstrating self-initiative in problem solving.
  • Assist in the development of data collection and analysis of the quality improvement projects.
  • Ensures all client records are maintained according to agency standards, policies and procedures.
  • Engages in professional development. Responsible for keeping current in the field. Completes seminars and/or continuing education programs, as appropriate to update knowledge about addiction and mental health services.
  • Ensure client’s file documentation and other reports are up to date.
  • Participates in the development of quality improvement activities designed to enhance agency and program services
  • Engages in professional development. Responsible for keeping current in the field by attending formal and agency trainings.

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year’s experience working in health services
  • Experience working with underserved populations preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
  • Valid Drivers License in good standing with at least three years minimum driving experience with no serious traffic infractions

Additional Qualifications:

  • Computer knowledge of MS Office, and other HR applications is a plus, not required.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proactive, organized, and possess great follow-up skills.
