Reports to:  Nurse Manager


Days: Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00

 

Job Purpose: As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the Clinic Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the clinic’s day to day activities. The coordinator is often the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic and should greet patients with warmth and compassion, ensuring that patients feel welcome. The coordinator is responsible for keeping the clinic environment clean and organized, ensuring the shared areas are tidy and well-maintained, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients. Oversee the flow of patients throughout the day and work closely with medical staff, ensuring that appointments are on time, and addressing any issues.


Qualifications:

  1. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  2. Exhibits a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position. 
  3. Agree with and is willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies of the ministry. 
  4. Possess the characteristics of self-control, honesty, humility, courteousness, respectfulness, and responsibility when engaging with staff, volunteers, and management. 
  5. Display an attitude of submission to authority while serving in the ministry joyfully. 
  6. Possess a high emotional intelligence with the ability to stay calm and collected in stressful situations.
  7. Can work well independently or as part of a team.
  8. Has the ability to carry out functions with little to no supervision.
  9. Maintain confidentiality concerning patient records. 
  10. Good organizational and computer skills.
  11. Good bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish.

 

Program Responsibilities:

 

  1. Lead prayer time and devotions at the beginning of each shift.
  2. In anticipation of the patient’s arrival, make sure the lobby and guest seating areas are clean and orderly. The chairs and tables should remain neat and orderly throughout the shift.
  3. Verify the validity of guests as they arrive to the Clinic using the appropriate script before allowing entrance into the building.
  4. Upon the arrival of each patient, greet them with a smile, verify their appointment (using the provided Daily Schedule), copy photo ID, have them complete the What Can You Expect form, and offer patients water and a seat.
  5. Notify Medical Services when Advocate begins appointment with patient.
  6. Keep Daily Schedule up to date. Schedule Next Steps preview appointments.
  7. Answer phone and complete scheduling line intake form for patients needing an appointment.
  8. Doors are to remain closed between the reception area and the clinical offices.
  9. At end of shift, re-supply lobby and staff bathroom (kitchen) with toilet paper, hand towels and soap as needed.
  10. During down time, the receptionist may seek out other general office duties.
  11. Cross training as an advocate.
  12. Be coachable, committed and a team player who is loyal to the mission and those leading the organization.
  13. Track, order and maintain clinic supplies. Complete expense reports each month.
  14. Attend departmental and volunteer meetings, as necessary.
  15. Assist with fundraisers, as necessary.
