The Deliverydriver should be able to pick up and deliver materials according to a schedule. This person should be able to perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules and Department of Transportation road safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Transporting rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locations
  • Verifying the types of material being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weigh restrictions
  • Ensure the materials are loaded correctly
  • Inspecting the truck before and after every trip
  • Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to Management
  • Maintain accurate driver log
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Towing different types of trailers with equipment
  • Any other assigned duties as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver License
  • Valid Medical Examiners Certificate
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Experience operating a standard dump Truck
  • Problem Solving skills
