Requirements:

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
 DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
 Masters of Science degree in physics, nuclear engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university
 Must have at least 8 years’ of experience
 Familiarity with PBPE, acquisition community practices, and key nuclear modernization stakeholders
 Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
 PhD in physics, nuclear engineering, electrical engineering or related discipline from an
accredited university in a technical field with six (6) years of experience

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Develop TE capability investment proposals, to include investment in research and development of new test capabilities
 Review and critique test-related requirements documents, such as TE Master Plans, Test Capabilities Requirements Documents, and Analysis of Alternatives
 Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals 

 Interact with senior DoD leadership and strategic partners regarding use nuclear modernization
T&E infrastructure
 Be challenged to learn and grow well outside of your current technical background
 Explore technical positions individually and in groups cogently, quickly, and professionally to identify root causes and first principles
 Attend periodic test and evaluation and support facility meetings for nuclear weapon effects (NWE); space radiation; ground; and flight test infrastructure investments, operations, and planning as directed. Performs analysis to determine adequacy of NWE, ground, and flight test infrastructure, facilities, funding and workforce
 Assist in the assessment of complex TE support plans including TE Master Plans, specifications, design documents, gap and solution assessments, and/or test methods, and capability performance requirements
 Research current and emerging test requirements to determine the ability of the Federal and
American industrial base test infrastructure to ascertain vulnerabilities to nuclear effects and inform system design to ensure the adequacy of engineering margins 

 Prepare presentations and administrative packages on nuclear matters to support planning,
programming, and budgeting actions, produces reports and briefings in response to
Congressional inquiries, other DoD, and Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) needs
