In Home Caregiver

Village Caregiving - Beckley is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to join our team in the Whitesville, West Virginia and surrounding areas.  The In Home Caregiver will be responsible for providing home care services to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. 

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Monitor clients' physical and mental status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or family members
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Ensure clients' safety and well-being at all times
- Attend training and staff meetings as required

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but no necessary
- Ability to pass a background check 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
